Sunday night saw several churches check in early for Momentum Youth Conference. Excited, but tired from travel, students and adults were relieved to finally arrive at Robert Morris University.
Issac and Joshua from Modesto, CA, are looking forward to sleep after a long trip. They're also expecting to have a great time hanging with other churches and getting to know people they wouldn't normally meet. The group flew from California to Chicago, then traveled by ground to youth conference. "We're to the point where it hurts to sit", commented the boys.
Nancy, an adult from Lake Odessa, MI, is looking forward to the "speakers and renewing old friendships from my days at Grace".
Carrie, an adult leader from Warsaw, IN, wants to be "refreshed and challenged spiritually".
Corey, a student from Waynesburg, PA, is looking forward to fun and "to get my life changed back around". Since Corey is the only student from his church, the church in Dallas Center, IA, "adopted" him for the week. Corey became friends with the Iowa group last year.
Jonathan, also from Dallas Center, likes seeing Steve Fee and his band perform and is going to "go with the flow and hope it's good."
Please be praying as the rest of the conference will arrive Monday with the first session starting Monday evening.
