Momentum 2010

 

A minimum $100 deposit is required with all registrations to reserve your space.

  • if received by May 1, 2010, the Regular Momentum Rate applies
  • if received May 2- June 15, additional fees are applied
  • if registering June 16 – July 12, bring full payment to check-in at conference. Do not mail in any
    deposit or balance.

Full rate due by June 15; a $25 fee is added to balances received after June 15
Adult/Student Ratio Requirement –– 1 female youth worker for every 1-12 female students; 1 male youth worker for every 1-12 male students. (An additional adult is needed for every 1-12 students above this initial ratio). Note that “youth worker” is defined as an adult staying in the dorm with the students. Adults from the local church who are registered as Momentum Staff , Conference Rep or Adult Guests do not qualify for this ratio- unless they choose to stay in the dorm with their students. – and should make their intentions known by contacting the registrar.
Refer to the FAQ Page (PDF) for further information to consider if you do not have any adults to stay in the dorm with your students as described above.
 What’s Included in the Price:

  • Housing: Housing is provided starting Monday night through Saturday night. Momentum participants are housed by gender in university dorms and are chaperoned by youth workers for the week. Each room sleeps 2 – with a bunk bed. Most dorms are “traditional-style halls” with hallway restrooms/showers. Additional dorms are “suite-style-halls” with 2  room s sharing a restroom/shower .
  • Food: Meals included in the price of Momentum start with Monday lunch and end with Sunday breakfast. Most meals are buffet-style with several options. An evening snack is also included each day. Students can purchase additional snacks or food through the university.
  • Programming: All programming, including main sessions, training tracks, and breakout groups, are part of the Momentum package.

  • Meals Before Monday lunch and after Sunday breakfast
  • Costs of Off-campus Options available during daily free time. However, there are free on-campus options available each afternoon.

Please Note:
June 25th is the last date to place any checks in the mail (or to pay by pay-pal/credit card). After that date, simply bring your payment with you to present during check-in at Momentum. However, be prepared that this will increase the length of time to go through the check-in line.
WALK-IN HOUSING Note:
Dorm housing assignments are based on the number of registrations received as of June 25. Walk-in
registrations will need to be prepared to be added to the previously reserved room space for their
youth group.  In other words, extra rooms are not assigned.
