National Youth Worker Retreat $59 includes training for four days and breakfast and lunch meals. Training times will be featured in the mornings and evenings with afternoons open for free time in Daytona. Retreat will start the evening of Monday, March 18 and conclude Thursday morning, March 21. You are welcome to make reservations to come early or stay late at El Caribe Resort for your own vacation at the discounted rate. Historic El Caribe Resort, Daytona Beach, Florida Oceanfront property for $110 per night per room with Retreat registration. (Discounted for registrants)  Includes: – Balcony room with two queen beds (Book multiple registrants per room to save costs or families are also welcome to come.)  The National Youth Worker Retreat offers the opportunity to enjoy the beach and Daytona with free time in the afternoons, but there will also be optional afternoon opportunities to interact with other youth workers about how to connect with today’s young people.

Other informal discussions on youth culture and youth ministry will be led by Steve Kozak, Timothy Kurtaneck, Ed Short, Dave Rank, and others and worship will be led by Jordan Howerton.

This Retreat offers a unique advantage to attend and stay in Daytona for an inexpensive cost. About Bruce Barlow

Lead Pastor of a church of 800 people, Bruce Barlow and his wife Christi Barlow will share with us how they offer Biblical Counseling to people in the community. Training will be available during the week on culturally relevant topics on helping students. The Barlows are trained in Biblical Counseling by Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries.

About Steve Kozak

Steve Kozak, CE National’s new Vice President of Youth will be at the retreat talking on today’s generations. Previously Steve served as the Executive Director of AwanaYM and spent over a decade teaching high school theology and apologetics from Detroit to LA.

About Sean McDowell

Sean McDowell is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping the church, and in particular young people, to make the case for the Christian faith. He connects with audiences in a tangible way through humor and stories while imparting hard evidence and logical support for viewing all areas of life through a biblical worldview. Sean is an associate professor in the Christian Apologetics program at Biola University. He is the Resident Scholar for Summit California.

About Jordan Howerton

Jordan Howerton will be at the retreat leading the group in worship on Monday, March 18. Jordan and the Jordan Howerton Band regularly leads worship at Momentum Youth Conference as well as leading in his local church in Arizona as a Worship Pastor.
