Worship Specialty Travel Team based in Akron, OH: 

Administrative Leader Todd Shoemaker 

Todd Shoemaker is the Pastor of Student Ministries at the Bath Campus of Grace Church of Greater Akron. He has been on staff at Grace Church-Bath Campus for over 10 years now, working with middle and high school students. His passion for ministry started when he was in middle school. Todd says, “The Lord worked in and through me in crazy ways, which has led me to devote my life to investing in the lives of young people.” He had the opportunity to lead a Momentum Travel Team in 2009 and 2010. Todd has been married to his beautiful wife, Katie, for 7 years and they have two children together — Graham (5) and Willow (2). When he’s not with his family or busy with ministry, you can find Todd outside fishing, hiking, or in the stadium watching his favorite sports teams, the Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Steelers. Todd adds, “I am so excited for Summer 2021 and can’t wait to lead this new Momentum Travel Team!” 

Support Leader Josiah Bogue 

Josiah Bogue currently leads the young adult ministry, Collective, at the Bath Campus of Grace Church. In addition to that role, he serves as a worship leader for the weekend services at Grace and even writes and records music with one of their worship bands, Grace Collective. He grew up going to Momentum Youth Conference as a teenager and has served in a staff role at Youth Conference since graduating high school. He describes his wife, Sara, as “super cool.” They have been married for 2 years and live in Akron, OH. Josiah says he and Sara are “passionate about leading others to Christ and helping everyone around us understand the gospel of Jesus better!” 

Support Leader Zoe Jamison 

Zoe Jamison is originally from New Hampshire, but now lives in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from Cedarville University in 2016 with degrees in Worship, Youth Ministry, and Christian Education. She finished her Masters of Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary in August, 2020 and currently works as an Associate Director of Student Development at Grace Church in Akron. Her primary job there is to train high school and middle school students as worship leaders, musicians, and AVI technicians.  This is her first year leading a travel team and with her heart for worship and for students, she is extremely excited to be involved with this specialty team. 

Support Leader Benjamin Reitinger 

Benjamin Reitinger is a senior at Kent State University studying exercise science/pre-physical therapy. He grew up in the church and loves Jesus with all his heart. His interest in music began in 7th grade and he has been leading worship for over 10 years. Music has always been a passion for him and he says “praising God with music is the best.” Benjamin adds, “I hope to see you all soon and I’m very excited for this Travel Team!” 

Atlantic Travel Team based in Lititz, PA: 

Administrative Leader Cody Ray 

Cody Ray is the Student Ministry Pastor at Connection Christian Church in York, Pennsylvania, where he has been serving full-time for the last 10 years. He is the husband to Megan and father to his daughter Rylee (6), and son Caleb (3). He went to Lancaster Bible College and has a bachelor’s degree in Bible and Pastoral Ministry and a Master’s degree in Leadership Studies. He was a student on Momentum Travel Teams in 2009 and lead teams in 2011 and 2019. Cody has a passion for seeing people reach their next level in life and in their relationship with God. 

Support Leader Josh Hastings 

Josh Hastings is currently a student at Miami University in Oxford, OH. He has been involved in many areas of Momentum Ministry Partners over the years including a summer spent as a Travel Teams student, serving as student emcee at Momentum Youth Conference, and helping lead Travel Teams in a student leader role. When not at school, Josh is very involved in his home church, Grace Polaris in Columbus, OH where he volunteers with the youth ministry program. Currently, he is a part of CRU at Miami and serves in a bible study along with other small roles. Josh says, “I am excited for what the Lord has planned for the summer through Travel Teams!”  

Support Leader Josiah Shank 

Josiah Shank is from Elkhart, IN. He is in his third year at Grace College and Seminary where he is pursuing his undergraduate degree in education ministries and taking seminary classes for a masters in pastoral studies. He attends Grace Community Church in Goshen, IN and has served in their children’s and youth ministry programs for several years. He was a student on Travel Teams in 2017. Josiah spends his free time involved with on-campus events, playing volleyball, warming up on the E-sports team, and watching tv shows with his friends.  He shares that his experience on Travel Teams set him on the path to full-time ministry. Josiah is excited to lead others on a similar journey to learn more about ministry and get a first-hand experience of what ministry is in different areas.  

Support Leader Abby Benedict 

Abby Benedict is from York, PA. She currently attends Lancaster Bible College, pursuing degrees in biblical studies and children and family ministries. Currently, she is an intern at Connection Christian Church helping to run their children’s ministry. She regularly attends Connection Christian Church in York, PA and is also a volunteer leader in their student ministry program. She loves plants, dogs, and spending time with friends. Proud to be a 2019 Travel Teams alum, Abby is very excited for the opportunity to lead and to see all that God is going to do in the lives of the students.  

Support Leader Elizabeth Brady 

Elizabeth Brady was born and raised in Stephens City, VA where she developed her sense of adventure and love of people. After graduating from Liberty University in 2017 with a degree in ASL Interpreting, she moved to Frederick, MD where she started working as a school ASL Interpreter and caretaker for a young lady with special needs—blending two roles she loves. Elizabeth enjoys teaching both middle and high school students during the week at Grace Community in Frederick. She also leads a ladies young adult Bible study and recently stepped up in women’s ministry at church. In her free time Elizabeth is reading, spending time outside, or doing something artsy. She loves to be creative and “brings the fun” wherever she goes. While new to Momentum Ministry Partners, Elizabeth grew up under some incredible leaders and is “so excited to champion the next generation in their service and ministry to the local church.”
