WORRY & ANXIETY – In this teaching session we open up the book of Psalm 121 and talk about what do we do when we worry and become anxious about things.  Students will discover the importance of knowing who God is and knowing what He has already accomplished. Caregiver | Teaching Notes

CAREGIVER – In this teaching session we open up the book of Nehemiah 1-2 and talk about the heart of Nehemiah and how his heart broke when he saw the needs of his fellow Jews and how that relates to the heart of a Caregiver. Students will discover the heart of a Caregiver and discuss practical ways they can be caring for others.

Accepting Our Neighbors | Teaching Notes

ACCEPTING OUR NEIGHBORS – In this teaching session we look at the story of the demon-possessed guy from Luke 8:26-39 and the response from the people in the city.  Do we recognize the work of Jesus around us and when Jesus brings new life to our neighbors or those around us are we ready to accept them with open arms regardless of who they are or how they look?  Students will discover that the church is made up of a variety of different people and how to practice grace and love with those who are different than us.
